Between mile markers 65 and 66

Driving south from the main Soberanes pullout, go about 0.25 mile up the hill, where there are two small turnouts on either side of the highway. These pullouts are very small and will accommodate only one or two cars at a time. They are also easy to miss if you’re not careful. Both offer spectacular views of Soberanes Cove to the north. There are many sea stacks protruding from the water and they help make this an excellent shot with a wide-angle lens. In the spring and winter the hillsides are covered with bright yellow lupines and yellow mustard, which add another dimension to this location.
